About This Role

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications for a client in Phoenix, AZ. This role focuses on building applications using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL databases, while implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
• Build REST APIs and backend services with a strong understanding of SQL and relational database design
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Maven, GitHub, and Jenkins to ensure smooth deployments
• Develop scalable batch processes using Spring Batch and ensure robust data processing workflows
• Apply Java multithreading and concurrency principles to create efficient, high-throughput application components
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance while proactively adopting new technologies and best practices

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in core Java development and building enterprise-level applications
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL databases
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Maven, GitHub, and Jenkins
• Proven experience with Java multithreading/concurrency
• Experience with batch processing using Spring Batch

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in core Java development and building enterprise-level applications
