Employment Counsel - AM LAW

About This Role

This role will serve as an experienced employment counsel attorney for an AM LAW-ranked firm, focusing on class action litigation strategy, analytical work, risk assessment, and drafting legal documents for various jurisdictions. The position offers a fully remote opportunity with a focus on work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in class action litigation, evaluating potential matters and helping shape the firm’s case intake and litigation strategy
• Handle analytical work, issue spotting, and assessing risk and viability across complex legal claims
• Partner with the national trial team to conduct the fact investigation and exposure assessment for class, collective, and representative actions
• Responsible for corporate disclosures, drafting answers and initial disclosures in various jurisdictions
• Analyze potential for removal, including damages calculation under the Class Action Fairness Act and preparing removal documents
• Prepare a full evaluation of the needs of the firm's client

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing
• 5+ years of experience in class action litigation, complex litigation, or related practice areas
• Strong analytical, research, and legal writing skills
