Electrical Supervisor

About This Role

Lead and supervise a crew of 2-5 electricians for commercial and industrial solar installations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced electrician who takes pride in craftsmanship and desires to grow with a tight-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and work alongside a crew of 2–5 electricians
• Lead commercial and industrial solar installations
• Ensure all work complies with NEC and OSHA standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
• Train and mentor crew members to meet AEPS Electric’s standards
• Coordinate with the Project Manager to keep projects safe, efficient, and on schedule
• Set the tone on-site through professionalism, safety, and quality workmanship

Requirements

• Commercial / Industrial electrical experience
• Strong working knowledge of NEC
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops
• Proficient with electrical hand and power tools
• Valid driver’s license and clean background

Qualifications

• Commercial / Industrial electrical experience required

Nice to Have

• NJ Licensed Journeyman
• OSHA certification
