Join a top electrical contractor in Seattle to analyze plans, perform detailed take-offs, lead junior estimators, and prepare bid proposals for diverse electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plans/specifications and perform detailed take-offs to produce accurate cost estimates, including all hidden or implied work
• Lead junior estimators and collaborate across teams
• Solicit, compare and negotiate vendor/subcontractor pricing
• Maintain current cost databases
• Identify value engineering opportunities without sacrificing code compliance or system performance
• Prepare bid proposals
• Support budget forecasting
• Attend pre-bid/site meetings
• Ensure smooth transition of awarded work to project management/construction teams

Requirements

• 7+ years professional experience in electrical estimation
• Experience in Seattle or built-up cities
• Knowledge of strict local codes and regulations
• Experience across a range of building sectors, like healthcare, commercial, etc.
