An Electrical Critical Facility Technician 2 with extensive experience in mission-critical environments is needed to design, build, operate, and maintain cyber-physical solutions. This role requires strong electrical and mechanical knowledge for installation and troubleshooting, enabling the delivery of automated and resilient power and technology systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and maintain cyber-physical solutions for mission critical facilities and complex infrastructure
- Proficiently work with electrical power (AC and DC) and mechanical systems
- Install and troubleshoot mission-critical systems
- Utilize various electrical testing equipment (multimeters, DLROs, infrared scanning tools) for diagnostics and preventative maintenance
- Read and interpret complex schematics and blueprints
- Lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance
- Work at various heights up to 60 feet and climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders
- Perform routine and repetitive tasks such as walking, climbing, lifting, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead
Requirements
- 6+ years' work experience
- 3+ years of direct experience in a critical facility operation (data center or hospital)
- Proficiency in electrical power (AC and DC) and mechanical systems
- Experience with mission-critical systems (UPS, batteries, PDUs, generators, fuel systems, ATS, BMS, EPMS)
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment (multimeters, DLROs, infrared scanning tools)
- Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and blueprints
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or greater
- 6+ years' work experience including 3+ years of direct experience in a critical facility operation, such as a data center or hospital
