Driver Class A

About This Role

Operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites, performing driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste clean-up. This role ensures safe handling and transportation of hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs
• Perform loading and unloading of trucks
• Conduct manual labor on site to fulfill customer needs
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements/regulations
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports
• Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements
• Observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures as well as company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
• Handle site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials (by position)

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Hazmat endorsement
