Driver Class A

About This Role

Operate Class A commercial trucks and various heavy/light duty equipment at customer sites, performing both driving and hands-on duties related to hazardous waste clean-up.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks
• Load and unload trucks
• Perform manual labor on site to fulfill customer needs
• Properly placard vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports
• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
• Observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures and company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Passport
• Hazmat Endorsement
• Ability to operate manual transmission
• Previous manual labor experience
