District Manager

About This Role

Lead and oversee the operations of up to six ALDI stores across Southern California and Arizona, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and sales growth. This role involves significant leadership, responsibility, and a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assess, establish, and implement appropriate store staffing levels, with direct reports' input
• Develop and implement action plans with direct reports to improve operating results
• Ensure adherence to company merchandising plans
• Plan and conduct regularly scheduled meetings with direct reports
• Assure the training, development, and performance of their team’s staff to retain a motivated, professional workforce
• Recruit and recommend qualified employees for their team’s staff positions
• Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to their team
• Review and analyze competitive pricing within the district and keep leadership informed
• Provide product feedback to leadership, including recommendations regarding new items
• Oversee and manage stores’ compliance with established policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
• Knowledge of human resource management related to recruitment, selection, training, development, motivation, retention, and separation
