Dishwasher

About This Role

This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all cooking and tableware to support the smooth operation of the kitchen and dining areas. The dishwasher is a critical part of the hospitality team.

Responsibilities

• Load, run and unload dish machine
• Keep dish room clean and organized
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
• Report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents, cleaning supplies, and clean tableware
• Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times

Requirements

• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
• Positive energy and team player mentality
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests
• Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand/walk constantly with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting
