About This Role

This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas, performing various cleaning and storage activities including dish washing and pot washing. The Dishwasher ensures compliance with all food storage, cleaning, and preparation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform dish washing and pot washing
  • Carry out general and equipment cleaning duties
  • Manage storage and rotation of food and supplies
  • Conduct janitorial duties in dining service areas
  • Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
