Dishwasher

About This Role

This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen by performing various cleaning and storage activities. The dishwasher ensures compliance with food safety regulations and supports kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing and pot washing duties
• Clean general kitchen areas and equipment
• Store and rotate food and supplies appropriately
• Handle all foods and conduct storage and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
