About This Role

This role is essential to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, ensuring residents receive meals with properly sanitized dishes and utensils in a nursing and rehabilitation center.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils according to cleaning schedules and procedures
• Prepare dishwashing and pot washing areas, and operate equipment properly
• Return clean dishes and utensils to their proper storage locations
• Sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and surfaces as scheduled
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and kitchen areas

Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate dishwashing equipment
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively
