Dishwasher

About This Role

This role is responsible for maintaining kitchen cleanliness, including washing and storing dishes, utensils, and glassware, as well as general sanitation of food and beverage areas at Cedric's. The dishwasher will also assist with receiving and storing deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Clean and properly store all pots, pans, and other utensils
• Clean sink and pots area after every shift
• Wash and properly store all dishes, glassware, and silverware
• Maintain floor cleanliness through consistent mopping and sweeping
• Clean dish machine
• Empty all garbage and clean cans when needed
• Perform daily cleaning of all food and beverage areas as instructed, including walls, ceiling, lights, equipment, and receiving area
• Assist others in receiving and storing items from delivery truck, ensuring proper storage and rotation of product
• Maintain rear receiving areas and trash areas in a clean and orderly fashion
• Help kitchen with food prep on occasion

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds maximum with frequent bending, lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 20 pounds
• Ability to walk or stand for entire shift, mainly in the dish area
• Ability to work in a restaurant or kitchen environment with fluctuations in temperature and conditions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and loud environment
