Dishwasher

About This Role

Support a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for residents in an assisted living facility by assisting the dining team with dishwashing, kitchen cleanliness, and basic food service support.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
• Operate large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and all other food prep surfaces as assigned
• Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food preparation machines and equipment
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards
• Assist with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed
• Comply with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• High-School diploma or equivalent
