About This Role

This role provides clinical and operational leadership for respiratory care and neurodiagnostic services across Luminis Health, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective health care. The Director will guide strategic development and collaborate on initiatives to achieve organizational goals. They will exemplify Luminis Health’s leadership framework of Team, Change, and Business (TCB).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate clinical services and processes including policies, case management, and patient education
  • Assume organizational responsibility for staffing and documentation systems, including recruitment and retention strategies
  • Implement a management structure fostering collaborative decision-making and continuous process improvement
  • Monitor and assess the quality of services, identifying and prioritizing areas for improvement
  • Manage clinical leadership in strategic planning, program development, and capital expenditures
  • Review market research and recommend promotional and marketing activities consistent with market needs
  • Perform budget analysis, assessing trends, implementing strategies to meet expectations, and forecasting
  • Collaborate on employee relations and staff development, maintaining active professional organization membership
  • Demonstrate knowledge of applicable legal, regulatory, and policy requirements related to patient billing and practice of Respiratory Care, Electroencephalography, and Intra-Operative Monitoring
  • Act as a change agent to guide process improvement by supporting initiatives with direct reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field from an accredited college or university
  • 5 years related clinical experience in an acute care hospital
  • 3 years of supervisory experience in an acute care hospital
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification
  • Registered Respiratory Care (RRT) Practitioner with the NBRC
  • Current Maryland RCP license or ability to obtain upon hire

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field from an accredited college or university
  • Five years related clinical experience in an acute care hospital, three years of which includes supervisory experience.
