This role is responsible for overseeing the customer service and management of private duty services and aides, ensuring client care standards, and developing community outreach strategies. It also involves the recruitment, training, and supervision of private duty team members.
Responsibilities
- Intake client calls, provide client communication and follow up
- Propose services and financial agreements with clients
- Accurately input new patient referral and contact information into the system and coordinate with DON/scheduler for assessments
- Oversee scheduling care givers to accommodate patient needs
- Maintain an ongoing relationship with current, future, and former clients, client families, company employees and any outside agencies
- Responsible for the recruitment, interviewing, selection, and orientation of private duty team members
- Facilitate the on-boarding process with HR
- Supervise all clinicians including Private Duty Aides, Scheduling, and Obtaining consents and contracts
- Evaluate staff performance relative to job goals/requirements; coach staff and recommend in-service education programs
- Accurately enter caregiver and payroll data; confirming timesheet, tasks and visits are complete
- Gather, collate, and report billing/invoice information accurately
- Assist in evaluating services and programs, recommending modifications as needed
- Supervise, train, and mentor appropriate staff
- Participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement activities as assigned
- Be required to be “on call” on a rotation basis
Requirements
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial metrics and key performance indicators
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Completed a minimum of 75 hours of training which includes an introduction to personal care services or hold a clinical licensure
- Free from health problems that may be injurious to patient, self and co-workers
- Comprehend the basics of personal care, housekeeping and meal preparation
- Understand and respect client’s including ethics and confidentiality of care
Qualifications
- Nurse/LVN preferred
