Director of Health and Wellness - LPN or RN

About This Role

Lead the clinical care team and oversee health and wellness functions for a senior living community, ensuring high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the community complies with all federal, state, and local clinical regulations
• Track, review, and report clinical occurrences and implement improvement plans
• Partner with the Administrator and key department leads to maintain resident and team member health and safety
• Oversee medication management and pharmacy coordination
• Provide clinical guidance and support to licensed nurses and caregiving staff
• Assist with staff education and clinical training as needed
• Oversee resident assessments, service plans, and documentation of status changes
• Ensure timely completion and review of monthly service plan updates
• Maintain communication with residents and responsible parties regarding care updates
• Manage clinical staffing schedule and ensure adequate clinical coverage
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, CMAs, and other assigned staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal, communication, documentation, and decision-making skills
• Interest and compassion for seniors and resident-centered care

Qualifications

• At least one year of leadership experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred
