Director of Business Development

About This Role

Lead business development efforts for Capstan Tax Strategies by developing sales strategies, cultivating client relationships, and achieving sales targets in the financial and tax consulting industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to attract new clients and expand market presence
• Cultivate and nurture existing relationships with CPA firms and financial partners
• Apply consultative sales expertise to understand clients' needs and provide tailored solutions
• Proactively seek out and pursue potential leads as a true sales hunter
• Utilize strong communication skills to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
• Embrace and adapt to new skills and technologies in tax consulting
• Consistently achieve individual sales goals and contribute to team sales targets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in consultative sales, ideally in the financial or tax industry
• Existing relationships and networks with CPA firms and financial partners
• Strong understanding of finance and tax principles
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
