About This Role

This Project Engineer role involves creating detailed cost segregation reports and conducting comprehensive site visits to document assets for tax consulting services. The position requires meticulous accuracy, problem-solving skills, and effective communication to ensure client satisfaction and financial success.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed cost segregation reports, including preliminary research, reviewing files, and confirming engagement agreements
• Conduct comprehensive site visits, documenting assets and common areas
• Input building assets into spreadsheets, write property descriptions, and generate comprehensive reports
• Collaborate with management staff to ensure the accuracy of reports and communicate effectively with clients
• Participate in regular staff meetings, technical sessions, and training opportunities
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with sales teams and clients, addressing any issues promptly
• Tackle unique project challenges and ensure a high level of accuracy and detail in your work
• Collect data about client properties, perform on-site reviews, and execute multi-step assessment processes

Requirements

• A minimum of a four-year engineering or technical degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering construction plans and specifications
• Willingness and ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
