Director of Business Development

About This Role

Lead business development efforts by creating and executing sales strategies to acquire new clients, cultivate partner relationships, and achieve sales targets within the tax consulting industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to attract new clients and expand market presence
• Cultivate and nurture existing relationships with CPA firms and financial partners to enhance collaboration and business opportunities
• Apply consultative sales expertise to understand clients' needs, providing tailored solutions that align with the company's mission
• Demonstrate high energy and drive as a sales hunter, proactively seeking out and pursuing potential leads
• Utilize strong communication skills to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
• Embrace and adapt to new skills and technologies to stay ahead in the ever-evolving field of tax consulting
• Consistently achieve individual sales goals and contribute to the achievement of team sales targets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in consultative sales, ideally in the financial or tax industry
• Existing relationships and networks with CPA firms and financial partners
• Strong understanding of finance and tax principles
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
