About This Role

The Director, Human Resources Business Partner, manages assigned client base by supporting division leaders to develop and implement people strategies that positively impact business goals. This role drives performance management outcomes and designs and executes organizational staffing plans. Key responsibilities include driving staffing needs, ensuring workforce planning, managing risk and compliance, and ensuring effective communications and strategies for engagement and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned client base by supporting division leaders to develop & implement people strategies
  • Drive performance management outcomes at the operating division level to optimize work force
  • Design and execute organizational level staffing plans to ensure the division has enough of the right skills and capabilities to achieve business objective
  • Drive staffing needs and ensures work force planning and quality of hires at the division level
  • Manage risk and ensures state of readiness for compliance with employment law, regulatory requirements and work place safety
  • Ensure effective communications across the division
  • Develop and implements strategies for recognition, training, benefits and compensation programs to drive employee engagement and retention
  • Drive division business outcomes (labor, turnover, engagement)
  • Improve leadership capabilities (performance management, succession planning and talent review)
  • Ensure compliance and minimize risk (Employee Relations, Work Place Safety, and Regulatory Compliance)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6 years of related experience in operations or healthcare
  • HR expertise and experience in performance management, employment law, employee relations, staffing workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, fundamental compensation and benefits principles
  • Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Windows-style applications and various software packages specific to role
  • Strong delegation skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong data and analytical skills
  • Emotional intelligence to manage difficult messages
  • Excellent meeting and facilitation skills
  • Ability to create strong relationships quickly with leaders and employees
  • Ability to drive business results

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6 years of related experience in operations or healthcare, with HR expertise in performance management, employment law, employee relations, staffing workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, and fundamental compensation and benefits principles.

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree
  • PHR/SPHR certification
