This role involves developing and executing Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategies to support the value proposition of Sanofi's Rare Disease products, working with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring evidence generation aligns with strategic goals for market access and optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategy and execute relevant tactics to support Rare Disease product value proposition
- Interface with market access, clinical, medical affairs, and commercial teams globally and in the US
- Accountable for planning, design, implementation, and completion of innovative evidence-based research programs
- Design and execute HEOR research including economic modeling, database analysis, observational research, and systematic literature review
- Set HEOR evidence generation priorities for assigned Rare Disease indications and incorporate into integrated evidence generation plans
- Operate within multi-functional global Brand and development teams to design clinical research programs meeting evidentiary standards
- Develop collaborative research relationships with payers to inform value to decision makers and build advocates for data
- Serve as subject matter expert to provide input in various commercial, medical, market access teams, and strategy development
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MS, MPH, or PharmD) in a scientific discipline
- 5+ years of combined experience in health economics, outcomes research, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience applying various HEOR methods to specific research projects
- Proficiency in principles of evidence-based medicine and clinical research methodology, economic modeling, and COAs
- Experience with US product launch and understanding of US payer evidence requirements
- Experience in translating Target Value Propositions and access strategies into evidence hypotheses
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MS, MPH, or PharmD) in a scientific discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in health economics, outcomes research, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with global HTA processes and guidelines
- Experience with HTA submissions
- Experience with US submissions
- Significant experience presenting to senior management
