About This Role

Lead global market access and pricing strategies for Sanofi's Immunology franchise, providing market access input throughout the development timeline and championing a one-voice market access perspective for pipeline assets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the assessment of various internal assets and potential target indications, in collaboration with therapeutic global cross-functional partners
  • Lead the development of the access and pricing strategy for internal assets, based on relevant scenarios developed in collaboration with New Product Planning
  • Responsible for the timely development of a clear Early Market Access Roadmap for all assets under scope to ensure organizational understanding and preparedness for decision-making and market preparation
  • Ensure timely execution of all core activities including foundational knowledge of disease and payer unmet needs, early market access success factors/risks identification, and fact-based early potential assessments
  • Provide informed market access input to clinical development plan and pivotal trial design
  • Formulate an early market access plan and early payer value proposition, and support payer evidence plan alongside HEVA
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of asset strategy as part of the Global Project Team and early commercialization team
  • Provide relevant support for governance meetings
  • Coordinate relevant Market Access GLocal subteams, ensuring input and engagement from priority markets
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding scientific, clinical, strategic pricing, and commercial developments relevant to assets
  • Develop and maintain a robust understanding of relevant pricing and reimbursement criteria used by payers in key markets
  • Improve early market access capabilities across the pipeline through methodology and standard improvement

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in science, business, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience with an accomplished track record in market access
  • Strong interest for clinical drug development / the science and shaping early strategies
  • Strong analytical skills, including pricing, with ability to translate clinical information and messages into clear payer access strategies/recommendations
  • Flexibility and demonstrated ability to work across multiple projects and priorities as well as across diverse and complex payer archetypes in the US and ex-US geographies
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write and deliver presentations
  • Strong leadership and demonstrated relationship building; ability to work well in a cross-functional team and build coalition
  • Understanding of the evolution of the market access landscape and implications for the business
  • Demonstrated business acumen, analytical and financial skills to evaluate investment strategies, and comfortable with product forecast and P&L, quantitative skills
