Responsibilities
- Follow a specific care plan for the member and report on completed tasks
- Assist people with personal care, including bathing and dressing
- Support routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
- Transport members to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary
- Assist members with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring)
- Observe and report any changes in a member's condition
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of in-home care services experience
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Reliable transportation
- Proof of insurance
- Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions
