Digital Marketing Specialist

About This Role

Lead digital marketing efforts for a comprehensive orthopedic and outpatient care organization, focusing on AI-driven and traditional search optimization to drive patient volume and brand authority.

Responsibilities

• Implement cutting-edge strategies to optimize the digital footprint for AI-driven search results (Generative Engine Optimization)
• Translate marketing goals into actionable digital campaigns that drive patient volume and brand authority
• Manage the backend health of websites, implementing and managing specialized healthcare schema markup
• Perform updates and landing page optimizations within WordPress, understanding HTML, CSS, site speed, and mobile responsiveness
• Own the optimization of Google Business Profiles, local listings, Yelp, and healthcare-specific profiles (Healthgrades, etc.)
• Act as the strategic sounding board for paid media efforts, ensuring continuity and strategic alignment
• Lead and support ad-hoc marketing initiatives and high-priority projects focused on maximizing operational efficiency and driving revenue growth

Requirements

• 4+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record of strategy and execution
• Deep understanding of SEO, AI Optimization (AIO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and expert-level knowledge of E-E-A-T signals
• Hands-on experience with SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Moz
• Proficiency in WordPress (backend management, plugin optimization)
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and Schema implementation
• Experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads

Qualifications

• 4+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record of strategy and execution

Nice to Have

• Experience in Healthcare/Medical marketing
• Strong understanding of the patient journey
