Digital Intel Analyst Lead

About This Role

This role will support the Uniform Patrol & Criminal Investigations Division by compiling information from various sources like cameras, LPRs, criminal histories, and open-source intelligence. The position involves producing intelligence reports, case briefings, and performing threat assessments, while also supervising assigned staff and providing feedback.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and log threat assessments and open-source checks
• Review daily intelligence reports and various resources such as the internet, law enforcement databases, financial records, and seized documentary evidence
• Support Patrol/Investigations Division with video footage and online data retrieval
• Oversee investigators who conduct online searches, data retrieval, and online data tracking
• Investigate, analyze, obtain, compile, and disseminate records and information to assist law enforcement personnel with criminal investigations
• Oversee and conduct investigations for assigned cases and aid non-assigned cases
• Manage and disseminate criminal intelligence data for information storage and retrieval systems
• Monitor social media and create/implement standard operating procedures for information review and assessment
• Oversee the administration of law enforcement background checks for department new hires
• Administer and create intelligence briefings and case updates for department-wide dissemination

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years of job-related experience
• US citizenship
• Ability to pass a background check

• Avigilon (or similar camera system) experience
• Threat Assessment experience
