About This Role

Provide inpatient nutrition care for Cardiac ICU, General Medicine, and Cardiothoracic Surgery patients in an acute care setting, focusing on comprehensive assessments and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
• Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
• Contribute to Quality & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
• Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable

Requirements

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Specialty certification when required

Qualifications

• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred
