About This Role

The Baker will prepare various baked goods according to specified recipes and production requirements, assisting in production planning to meet daily needs. This role ensures proper food preparation, quality, and presentation while maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production and catering sheets
• Ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
• Assist with the completion of production records, tracking waste, used/unused portions, and product shortages
• Ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils within work area
• Handle food items appropriately and with all safety regulations in mind during preparation and service
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments
• Interact with customers, resolving complaints in a friendly and customer-service oriented manner

Qualifications

• No prior experience is required; willing to train.
