Join a leading geotechnical specialty design-build contractor as a Geo-structural or Structural Design Engineer in Atlanta, GA. This role involves performing engineering analyses and developing designs for ground improvement and geostructural systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering analyses and develop designs for design-build services in ground improvement, geotechnical, and geostructural contracting
- Create project-specific and product-specific quality management processes for design-build projects
- Provide technical expertise for client meetings and business development presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's degree preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in geotechnical or geostructural engineering design preferred
Nice to Have
- Master's degree
- 2-3 years of experience in geotechnical or geostructural engineering design
- Experience in geotechnical construction design-build projects
- Experience in geotechnical seismic design
- Proficiency in MathCAD
- Proficiency in Ensoft L-Pile and Group
- Proficiency in Slope Stability Analysis Software (Slide or Slope/W)
- Proficiency in DeepEx
- Proficiency in Plaxis
- Proficiency in RAM
- Strong written, verbal, and computer skills
