Join Ferguson Enterprises' distribution center team to ensure accurate inbound shipments, perform general warehouse duties, and assist with health and safety compliance for seamless operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure inbound shipments are received and registered accurately
- Perform general warehouse duties facilitating the flawless flow of goods
- Assist site management to align with Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation, completing necessary documentation and records
- Resolve orders that cannot be dispatched or are on hold, liaising with other departments to find solutions
- Pick and pack goods ready for dispatch with outstanding attention to detail
- Follow Company compliance along with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements rigorously
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in a warehouse setting or similar role
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- High level of precision and well-developed organizational abilities
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Dedication to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
- Dependable, timely, and capable of working alone or collaboratively with others
