Database Developer

About This Role

This Database Developer role focuses on building and designing capabilities for applications that improve organization within the Lifecycle Automation and Tools team. The position involves writing scalable code, contributing to story refinement, and supporting deployment efforts to enhance organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
• Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements and story estimation
• Work with BAs/PMs to build requirements and project plans
• Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
• Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work
• Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
• Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality
• Participate, contribute, and coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events

Requirements

• 3+ years of SQL Server development experience
• 1+ years of SSIS development and deployment experience
• C# and VB.Net experience required for developing SSIS Packages
• 3+ years of coding Stored Procedures from simple to highly complex
• Proven experience in solving challenging technical problems
• Must be able to work in an agile environment using Jira to manage work
• 2+ years working in an Agile environment
• Comfortable working independently
• Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audience
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SQL Server development experience

Nice to Have

• Experienced with Git/Bitbucket source control
• Experienced working with JIRA and/or Horizon systems for ticket and release management
