About This Role

As a Data Technician, you will drive continuous improvement in data and records processes, ensuring accuracy and maintaining quality sales order files. This role is crucial for producing accurate documents and supporting customer shipments.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Quality sales order files and records to ensure accuracy
  • Produce accurate documents essential to the team’s success
  • Scan and archive records/data, assisting with the maintenance of the archiving log and purging of data
  • Compile supplier certificates of conformance for the First Article Inspection (FAI) package
  • Verify specific data needed for FAI packages
  • Review completed data pack and distribute lot completion electronically
  • Create Certificate of Conformance, Product Data Cards, and other documents to support customer shipments
  • Copy various data for distribution to Contracts and the Shipping Department
  • Prepare Ammunition Data Cards
  • Archive Sales Order Closeouts and file miscellaneous documents
  • Deliver/collect data as needed from different locations within site
  • Prepare and electronically distribute GSI requests to internal and external distribution
  • Review data pack for accuracy (lot numbers, document revisions, completed picked reports, all manufacturing data present, all in-process test data present, all test data present
  • Create/complete First Articles (as required)
  • Maintain customer metrics (as required)
  • Support Customer Quality Engineers with tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills for maintaining files
  • Ability to produce accurate documents
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing and energetic material experience preferred

  • 3-5 Years of Manufacturing and energetic material experience
  • Initiative in gaining in-depth experience in areas of technology relevant to company products
  • Works well in a team environment and alone
  • Ability to adapt to the changing needs of a project and meet deadlines
