The Data Analyst will transform supplier and transactional data into business-ready insights, supporting the development of reliable data pipelines and leading reporting efforts for sourcing and procurement. This hybrid role involves data transformation, modeling, and analytics enablement.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Data Services team to support and refine ELT processes for transactional and supplier data
- Assist with integration of new supplier or product datasets; structure and transform raw data into clean, analysis-ready datasets
- Build and maintain reporting layers and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., SAP Hana models, Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Contribute to the development and documentation of data models for sourcing and procurement metrics
- Perform data validation, cleaning, and transformation to ensure reporting accuracy
- Help define and implement best practices around data governance and definitions
- Support ad hoc reporting and analytics requests across procurement and sourcing
Requirements
- 3+ years in a Data Analyst or hybrid Data Analyst/Engineer role
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience working with relational databases
- Experience with Python
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and modern data stacks (Databricks, Snowflake)
- Demonstrated experience working within an ELT framework
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Strong attention to detail, data quality, and documentation practices
- Ability to travel up to 1 time per month for 2–3 days at a time
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years in a Data Analyst or hybrid Data Analyst/Engineer role
Nice to Have
- 5+ years in a data analytics or data engineering support role
- Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation tools within modern data stacks
- Exposure to procurement, sourcing, or finance data sets
- Ability to work from St. Louis, Effingham, or Indianapolis offices 3 days/week
