Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional lifetime patient care
• Advocate for patients and deliver personalized attention
• Utilize best-in-class non-clinical support for patient care
• Participate in hygiene mentor program to enhance clinical skills
• Deliver primary prevention services including oral education and instruction
• Perform dental hygiene procedures
• Document dental patient screenings and medical history

Requirements

• Current dental hygienist license in Michigan
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• New grads and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply

Nice to Have

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
