This role involves handling high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced call center environment, providing accurate information regarding prior authorizations, benefits, and general account inquiries while maintaining confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Handle high-volume inbound calls (50–100 per day depending on complexity)
- Make outbound follow-up calls as needed
- Provide accurate information regarding prior authorizations and general inquiries
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive healthcare information
- Enter data and document interactions with high accuracy
- Utilize multiple software systems to research and update customer records
- Meet performance expectations for quality, accuracy, and reliability
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent high-volume call center experience (within last 2–3 years)
- Stable work history (at least one year in previous roles)
- Typing speed of 30 WPM or higher
- Strong computer skills and ability to work across multiple systems
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Qualifications
