About This Role

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support at Canyon Animal Hospital, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for pet owners during all interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations
  • Manage lobby flow, address concerns, and calm distressed owners
  • Schedule appointments for animal care
  • Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well-being
  • Assist with medication pickups and inquiries
  • Provide information about services and products offered by the hospital
  • Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts
  • Assist with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records
  • Reconcile cash drawer and perform end-of-day duties for accurate financial transactions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience
