The Customer Service - Event Expert will resolve customer issues through phone, email, and chat, acting as the voice of the company to its customers. This role involves staying informed about company features and ticketed events, working within the Customer Experience (CX) team to provide excellent service for a ticketing industry client.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized support for customers through email, chat, and Enterprise customer phone support
- Use metrics and consumer insight to improve company offerings and evaluate performance
- Work daily with tools like Talkdesk, Zendesk, internal admin systems, Slack, Google business tools, Github, Looker, and Jira
- Go above and beyond for customers
- Attend weekly 1-on-1 and group strategy meetings
- Handle more specialized and escalated customer contacts and project work as expertise develops
Requirements
- Love for live events and ability to empathize with customers
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for technology and customer experiences
- Ability to keep a level head and adapt to seasonality/tech innovation
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable, high-speed internet (at least 35 Mbps)
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working in Customer Service, preferably at a tech startup or high-volume company.
