Customer Service Associate II

About This Role

As a Customer Service Associate II, you will support the daily operations of a Dollar Tree store, focusing on merchandising, freight processing, and maintaining a clean shopping environment. You will be cross-trained to manage cash register duties and provide friendly customer service.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely and efficiently
• Merchandise and stock products throughout the store
• Assist with store cleanliness, including cleaning restrooms, sweeping/mopping floors, and trash removal
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height
• Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• High level of integrity
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
