About This Role

The Customer Experience Lead drives top-line sales by directing and coaching associates on the sales floor. This role ensures operational excellence through visual standards, payroll management, and merchandise availability.

Responsibilities

• Drive and grow top-line sales through selling and leading associates on the sales floor
• Coach associates in the moment to enhance performance and customer experience
• Support operational excellence by maintaining visual standards
• Manage payroll effectively to align with sales and profit goals
• Ensure merchandise availability for optimal customer experience
• Act as a front-line supervisor, assigning work and providing direction to non-supervisory associates
• Lead and demonstrate company values within the store environment
• Conduct associate observations and provide coaching feedback
• Manage labor hours independently to optimize top-line sales and profit
• Oversee the overall appearance and brand presentation by maintaining visual merchandising standards

• Excellent merchandising skills
• Ability to review business reports and take action to achieve results
• Self-awareness with an interest in seeking feedback for development
• Ability to monitor progress and incorporate feedback into decision-making
• Ability to influence cross-functional partners
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and a flexible schedule
• Ability to stand for long periods, frequently bend, kneel, and lift
• Ability to use technology (headsets, mobile devices, computers)

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience preferred.
