CT Computed Tomography Technologist PRN

About This Role

Perform a variety of routine and advanced CT imaging procedures, support other imaging technologists, and ensure smooth and efficient patient flow within the healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures
• Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed
• Help to facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in QA
• Resolve issues related to image processing and archiving system
• Maintain expected imaging competencies as management outlines
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Perform examinations/procedures to assist in patient throughput
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions to the Director/Manager

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
• 1 year of CT experience in a Hospital or Clinical setting preferred

Nice to Have

• 1 year of CT experience in a Hospital or Clinical setting
• Basic computer experience
