Cross Functional Representative

About This Role

This role involves providing general customer service, operating the front-end checkout, and supporting various departments such as packaging, stocking, rotation, production, and sanitation, offering a dynamic work environment with diverse daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions regarding products
• Assist customers with product selection and take orders
• Use suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department sales
• Perform stocking and replenishment, product returns and rotation across multiple departments
• Build, stock, and maintain displays and fixtures
• Assist with inventory control, including loading, unloading, and moving product
• Perform duties in technical or perishable areas such as bakery, floral, or market
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation SOPs
• Properly operate and maintain all equipment
• Clean and sanitize sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment

Requirements

• Minimum age 18
• High school diploma, or equivalent
• 6+ months of experience in H-E-B Store operations
• Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training
• Customer service and interpersonal skills
• Verbal and written communication and reading skills
• Ability to adapt to performing a wide range of duties across multiple departments
• Ability to work autonomously

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent
• 6+ months of experience in H-E-B Store operations
