Critical Facility Technician

About This Role

Monitor critical facility equipment and conditions, conduct routine inspections, and respond to equipment faults to minimize downtime. Work in teams to install and test new racks within data halls, ensuring operational integrity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Follow all local and industry safety standards and regulations
• Attend daily maintenance meetings to discuss operations
• Administratively update Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Power, bond, level, move and inspect Data Hall rack equipment
• Perform routine inspection on specified equipment to verify integrity of systems
• Respond to incidents or instrument failures to prevent or minimize system outages
• Perform EOP drills on a monthly basis to train for emergency responses
• Complete all required safety and equipment training, certifications, and licensing
• Complete Risk Assessments prior to performing all maintenance evolutions

Requirements

• 4+ years' experience in data center or technical facilities
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong troubleshooting background
• Familiar with MS Office Programs
• Ability to utilize CMMS systems

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• 4+ years' experience in data center or technical facilities

Nice to Have

• HVAC or Electrical with a Journeyman preferred or equivalent
