Provide expert advice to customers, process orders, and maintain store appearance as a Counter Sales Representative for Ferguson, contributing to the company's mission of building better infrastructure, homes, and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs
- Process orders via order management system
- Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures
- Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
- Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised
- Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
- Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Requirements
- General digital literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
- General math skills for cash accounting
- Ability to learn
Qualifications
- 0-3 years of experience preferred
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of products
- Excellent decision making and communication skills
