Manage the daily operations of a corporate communications function, providing operational and execution support to the Head of Corporate Communications in the Americas. This role involves significant people-focused leadership and ensures operational excellence for FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance and Head of Corporate Communications to develop annual Corporate Communications budget, including specific line items
- Ensure seamless execution in administering annual budget
- Coordinate vendor/account setup with external Communications partners to create Fujifilm vendor accounts
- Liaise with Legal on preparing Consulting Agreements, SOWs, Confidentiality Agreements and MSAs
- Manage function-wide professional memberships
- Support the planning and execution of in-person and remote monthly team meetings, team Summits, in-person leadership team meetings and regional team meetings
- Responsible for compiling monthly Corporate Communications report, with input from other Leadership Team members
- Contributes to strategies and concepts for improving processes, efficiency, and best practices
- Support Leadership Team members with calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reporting and other duties as assigned
- Support FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation Management executive assistants to maintain an engagement schedule to support One FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation Management opportunities and engagements
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of demonstrated Communications experience in a corporate business environment
- Demonstrated business success in working closely with senior leaders (i.e. Vice President and above)
- 5+ years of external engagement leadership specifically in life sciences, healthcare or pharma
- Demonstrated professional experience with event planning
- An undergraduate degree
- Deep Corporate business acumen with external and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership experience in successfully working/collaborating with peers/colleagues in a range of cultures and geographies
- Ability to grasp complex technical concepts for effective communication to internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent project-planning and project-management skills
- Superior organizational skills and high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred.
- 8-10+ years of demonstrated Communications experience in a corporate business environment, including demonstrated business success in working closely with senior leaders (Vice President and above) and 5+ years of external engagement leadership specifically in life sciences, healthcare or pharma.
