As a Cook, passionately prepare, portion, and cook food items to Outback’s quality specifications, ensuring safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards are met. Contribute to providing an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items with speed and accuracy according to Outback’s quality specifications
- Maintain equipment and cleanliness of the kitchen work area
- Work as part of a team to achieve standards in food preparation and delivery
- Ensure safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards are maintained throughout the shift
- Prepare food using proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specifications
- Practice food safety and sanitation, restocking kitchen and cook line as needed
Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods of time
- Vision abilities including distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral, and ability to adjust focus
