About This Role

As a Cook, you will passionately prepare, portion, and cook food items to Outback's quality specifications. You will also maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards while contributing to an AUS-SOME dining experience for every customer.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items in a diverse menu with speed and accuracy
  • Work in various kitchen areas including Salad, Fry, Dessert, Sauté, Grill, Make Up, and Kitchen Prep
  • Maintain equipment and cleanliness of your surroundings
  • Work as a team to achieve standards in food preparation and delivery
  • Commit to safe food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation standards during the shift
  • Prepare food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specifications under management direction
  • Practice food safety and sanitation, restocking kitchen and cook line as needed

Requirements

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments
  • Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods of time
  • Vision abilities including distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral vision
  • Ability to adjust focus
