As a Cook, you will be responsible for passionately preparing, portioning, and cooking food items to Outback’s quality specifications, ensuring an AUS-SOME dining experience for every customer. You will maintain safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards throughout your shift.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, and cook food items to Outback’s quality specifications
- Commit to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards
- Prepare food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specifications
- Maintain equipment and cleanliness of your surroundings
- Work as a team to achieve standards in preparation and delivery of food items
- Practice food safety and sanitation
- Restock kitchen and cook line as needed throughout the shift
Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods of time
- Vision abilities including distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral vision
- Ability to adjust focus
