About This Role

The Cook will prepare amazing and nourishing meals for guests, ensuring the highest quality food service and culinary experience. This role works closely with the Executive Chef to create and review menus, prepare food, and adhere to sanitary regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
• Coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance
• Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
• Assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service through daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• ServSafe certified
• Basic Computer Skills
• 2+ years of related food experience
• Strong knowledge of food procedures
• Excellent customer service skills
• Commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care
• Team player

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility
