Ensure adherence to regulations, food preparation standards, and infection control, assisting in the health and rehabilitation goals of residents. This role also involves overseeing dietary aides and inspecting food deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and nourishments using standardized recipes for regular and therapeutic diets
• Pay special attention to the appearance of served meals
• Adhere to regulations and company policies regarding diets, food preparation standards, and infection control
• Provide oversight to the dietary aide position during your shift
• Receive and inspect food deliveries for accuracy and quality

Requirements

• Able to follow a recipe and have basic cooking skills
• Willing to learn and follow safety, preparation, and sanitation standards
• Passion for delivering great customer service
• Able to work with a dedicated team and help direct others
• Neat in appearance and with professional behavior
• Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening
• Able to pass physical examination for gainful employment
• Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training
• Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions
• Previous experience in Food Service
