About This Role

The Cook at Quail Park of Lynnwood will be a key member of the Signature Dining Team, responsible for preparing delicious and safe meals for senior residents, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health standards. This role will contribute to a positive and enjoyable dining experience for all residents.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and procedures to cook and prep all food to Signature Dining Standards
• Maintain freshness and appropriate temperatures of food
• Ensure proper food storage including covering, labeling, dating, and placing in proper areas
• Always ensure safe food handling techniques
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment before and after each use
• Ensure all kitchen surfaces remain clean and sanitary during shift
• Complete deep cleaning procedures according to schedule or as directed

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year applicable food service experience
• Demonstrated understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English
• Meet all health-related and/or food-handling requirements as per local and state regulatory agencies
• Current CPR/First Aid and Food Handler's credentials

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year applicable food service experience, previous experience in hotel/restaurant or senior living preferred
